Seb Fontaine @ Icon Review

Finally, I made myself to write a review after a long day. I arrived to club very early, I was the first one to come in. In the beginning, it was empty and Myles was spinning some breaks with trancy influence. Really good stuff! Talked to Frank at the entrance for a while.

After some time, Pat showed up as well. It was nice seeing ya, man. Somewhere, around 12:30, Seb walked into a DJ booth. He started off with techy house, then he moved into tribal house and then he kinda started to mix house types, lol. I am really picky when it comes to house, but he spun really good tunes. Kept me dancing almost non-stop.

Too bad that only TA's that I've seen were Myles, Frank and Pat. Turnout wasn't that great either. Nevertheless, it opened my eyes to house like never before, hehe.

End of review. Feel free to comment.

Well.....

If you enjoy seeing these big name d.j's perform downtown, than you need to come out and support. I understand its usually a wed night, but catching 1 show 2ice a year is not cutting it. It was a very poor turnout for Seb, and it was noted by the club management. If the turnouts continue to be poor than you won't get anything, plain and simple. I guess everybody would rather drive hours to see dj's than to support the ones that come to thier own back yard.

Wednesday night is perfect for me. I can't say for other people though. :sadgreen:

Yeah, turnout was crap. There were almost no people until about 11:30.

Thats terrible about the turnout for Seb! Who was handling the promotion aspects of the show?

Our event in Atlanta with Seb was rammed full all the way through till the end and he was having a blast. He said the club reminded him of a clubnight he runs in London and is brilliant.

He will be back before WMC in Atlanta so in case you want to see him again, you have another option ;)
