Have we forgotten Iraq was about WMDs
Have we forgotten Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11
Have we forgotten Al Qaeda was based in Afghanistan
Have we forgotten Osama bin Laden
Herman Goering, yes Nazi Herman Goering once retorted the way to garner the support of the people is to tell them what they want to hear and question their patriotism in order to fulfill your policies.
No American has forgotten 9/11, what does that have to do with Iraq when Afghanistan wasn't even finished and Bin Laden and his henchmen are still hiding in the mountatains in ratholes.
We speak of liberties and freedoms yet it took this nation under many of those men quoted centuries to bring that to all of its citizens, if we are going to get historic and quote Franklin and Adams about liberties. |

Exactly, an unfinished war might I add;) hence my statement "what does that have to do with Iraq when Afghanistan wasn't even finished and Bin Laden and his henchmen are still hiding in the mountatains in ratholes."
It's fresh in my memory G.W. Bush might have been the one that forgot about it when he went to Iraq for God knows what purpose. |

why are you connecting iraq with 9/11? |
|
|

"no one has yet tied the Taliban to a direct attack on the United States, although no one doubts for a moment that deposing the Taliban post-9/11 was absolutely the right thing to do."
the ties between Al Queda and Iraq are well documented and corroberated. disputing them is backwards thinking and defeatist.
given Al Qaeda's undisputed motives and doctrine, to collaberate with Iraq in any fashion means those collaborations were terrorist in nature. plain and simple.
"a greater strategic motive for elimination" deny that and you fool yourself into a position of weakness. |
