Traveling to Amsterdam this summer, any tips

| I will be traveling into Europe this summer and spending a few weeks there (early June to mid July) I plan to spend a good amount of time in Amsterdam and wanted to know what and where the good clubs are there. If there will be any good/big name DJs playing there during the times I will be there. I am excited to get a taste of the European dance scene and would have loved to be at Sensation. Thanks for any information you can give. |

This jear Sensation is going to be held the first saturday of july, I think. But I'm not 100% sure.

the exact date is't public yet....
but rumours say it's at 7 july
I'd buy my tickets very early, cause I think this one will be sold out in a week

1st july is on Sunday so its not going to be the first.
But when i hear the date,im going to rush to the postoffice to get my ticket.Last year really ROCKED!! |

when there r no big parties be sure to check out:
-rembrantsplein/thorbeckeplein & near those (a lot of clubs)
-trance buddha (near the red light destrict, a real good underground trance club)

| ok I saw someone told you to go to trance buddha but its closed :( it was the best disco in a'dam but you've also time a very good place with some good dj's tha play on friday hardhouse and on saturday the play trance and some good trance!! and you'll have the mazzo a good plays with some relax techno music |

| Wow all this is really goning to help me out when I travel. Hopefully I can catch all the good acts when I'm there. If anyone hears anything more about Sensation 2001 (date, ticket prices, or anything else) please post here to let me know. Thanks a lot for the information |

You should go to the hookers on the "wallen" and laugh at them LoL. Some of them are realy ugly. For an example a big black woman in a tiny swimsuit.. aaah man i almost had to puke.
And dont go with them unless you are a pathetic loser ofcourse
You can also visit the "dam" and Virgin store underneath the "magna plaza" (for some nice cd's they have got a nice collection of rare cds 2)
yeah ofcourse you didnt wanted to know all this but hey thats also holland man :)
Dont forget about the (in)famous coffee shops
You shouls also wander around the "rembrandstplijn" cause there are some nice clubs in that neighbourhoud.. as i recall.. :) |
