omg for those who watched idol last nite, how much of a harsh bitch was marcia towards chanel:
her exact words:
"You know what Chanel, I really don,t have anything to say to tou.OK, because I think that what the both the guys have said in many ways is a bit a sexual insult to women,OK, and also Chanel when I first saw you I liked the quirkiness that you were and seeing it week after week after week it,s kind of like something you,re trying to keep up or something and I just want to say to you Just stay true to yourself Chanel OK That,s all I can really say to you because I really don,t want to tear you to pieces because if I do a bad performance I know what I,ve done. add to that her plastic-face with evil eyes and you got perhaps one of the most cringewortHy pieces of television ever.

Marcia fears the revolution of the Australian music industry if Chanel Cole wins Australian Idol or gets further. Female singers will no longer have be in the overdone Celine/Mariah/Whitney mould to get far in Australian Idol. Chanel Cole has the most unique style in Idol and probably the closest thing to an EDM vocallist ever.
Chanel Cole in the semi finals performed a sublime version of Portishead's "Glory Box" (its probably better than the original!),
Marcia called the song choice 'obscure.' But eat Marcia, the Australian public put her through!

Marcia really s me! If you watch American idol at all you'll note that marcia is supposed be to somewhat alike to Paula Abdul.
Difference being is that whilst Paula does spend some time just sitting the fence and kissing arse, when she does have an opinion she says it.
Marcia has given nothing even remotely close to intelligent feedback in either series.:whip: :whip: |
