Personally, I just go with how I am feeling that night. If I am going to the club to just hang out and feel the music for myself and just have a good time in general then I will wear whatever is comfortable to me at the time. Whether it is just jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt and a lot of times just too lazy to do my hear so wearing a cap. But if I am in the mood to get some numbers and dance with as many girls as I can then I definitaly put on something flashy and nice for the ladies. And most of the time thats what I am wearing. A nice shirt (collered most of the time) with nice pants and kicks.

Like someone earlier in this thread said, I believe people who listen to EDM are the most diverse people when compared to the crowd of people who listen to other types of music. And I believe that says a lot and gives us a good name. It means we are people who can be ourselves and not worry about what others think. It is as simple as that. You arent worrying about looking cool in front of others and trying to win over others opinions. You are there to have a good time and take in the music.

Like when I went to see DJ Icey, there were some prep kids, like a load of candy ravers, some fat people, this dude that had a nirvana shirt on, this guy with a mohawk, and this black dude who was breakdancing. that was tight. breakdancing is amazing.

She's probably the kind of person who wears clothes because it's popular not cause she likes it..

Sorry but thats the stupidest thing to say, like you gotta wear specific clothes depending on what you do/listen to.. I know a truckload of people who wear skae clothes but they've never touched a board, so farkin what If they like it?

Tell that girl to fu*k off! You listen to the music because you enjoy it. I used to wear the "raver clothes". I still own a bunch of the UFO's and phat pants. I personally think that people who wear candy and other childish things to parties look like s. If she told you that you were a wannabe trance listener, you should have proved your knowledge on the music to her. You probably know more about the music than she did.

Yeah I still wear some UFO's, they're comfy as hell. Also if a person sees me in one, they better bet that ass I'm going to be dancing all night! :D

When I go to clubs, I wear something better, less danceable still comfortible, but looks really nice.

I used to get ragged on by this girl I talked to because I wore nice clothes instead of raver stuff. I like being dressed nice. And you know what, how you dress and what you listen to are two different things. Do like I did, laugh in her face for being a dumbass.

what you wear shouldnt have any connection to what kind of music you like.

though as far as raver clothes are concerned, i find a lot of them are fairly practical cause they've got the big pockets. i like to be able to carry all my with me when i go out... i say, wear whatever is practical and comfortable for you, not anyone else.
