Yeah, I beg to differ with the whole sketch = no good sex idea too.
Sex can be good esp. when sketchy as it gives a focus to the otherwise scattered brain. So its a good time to STFU.... from rambling(as I'm sure we all do) about the insignificant things and get the last spurt of energy to release what few endorphins we have left. Plus when you've been uh gratified its a lot easier to pass out and have a good long rest..... |

This is true, the "sketch" does no stereotype, or discriminate or is prejudice against anyone. It gets us all...especially those crazy 40 year old asians that show up to the Guv, and my korean friend Mr.Yu, who can be the biggest sketchpad after a night of drug using.

These are what we call "sketchy episodes" more or less, adventures while on the "sketch" as many would refer them to, but this can be quite misleading, as usually the people involved in said episodes never even leave their bedroom or immediate household vincinity (think of an adventure in the mind). As for the people themselves who were in this said adventure, they are refered to as "Sketchpads". |

My opinion about the "sketchy sex". I think that its really weird. Cause sometimes, I'm like wow am I even having sex? or I'm like this feels weird... or soemtimes sketchy sex is the best sex I've ever had!
Not that you all needed to know that...but oh well. |

That's precisely what I'm talking about when I use the word, or particularly phrases like "sketch factor". It's not necessarily the condition of being on drugs per se, but the visibly ed up, out of control, making an ass of themselves and getting in everyone's way condition. Think of the difference between someone who's had 2 beers and someone who's had 10 beers. Drugs can put people on a scale anywhere from very happy or sociable (let's call that 1 on the sketch scale) to very mean and annoying (10). Anybody caught blowing a whistle out of rhythm, for example, is pushing their way up the sketchy scale. :p
Another way of putting it is people who are high (or coming down) but obviously can't handle their mental condition. Like rollers balling their eyes out at the end of a party, or speed freaks break dancing to car alarms, or even just seriously drunk/stoned idiots crashing into things and falling down. When you have a lot of ed-up people just standing around, that to me is also sketchy, because they're like vampires absorbing everyone else's buzz but contributing nothing of their own.
You go to some parties like Cream and sure, most people are on some kind of substance, but it all sort of comes together in this glowing happy energetic vibe. It's not always like that though - sometimes you have people like I just described, people who seem like the only reason they came was to get ed up and aren't even interested in the party or the music. When I call a *place* sketchy, I mean that there a lot of those people.
Yeah sketchy also refers to the "after-party" state of mind (like the Zone), but when I'm talking about a party or the crowd attending it, I mean the first definition. |
