| How difficult is it to become an officer in the New York Police Department or the Los Angeles Police Department? Obviously you have to be strong and intelligent but can anyone give me some information on this |

its not hard to get in. Its just getting in on a good shift, and surviving, not just surviving like staying alive, like taking all the stress.

Im not in LA or NY, but many cops I have seen must've failed either one or both parts of this examination. |

sounds like someone got raped in the ass by a cop and is still holding some sour feelings :wtf:
its just like anything in the world, there are bad apples, and they get on the news all the time so small minded individuals make sweeping generalizations about them all.

Ah, I see your trying to tell me about a secret family anecdote, but to regress a bit, and talk a bit about myself. I'm really a spiteful person in general, so no, my inner hatred has nothing to do with squabblings with the law. I just like to hate a little bit on everyone.

Yes, because if I was really trying to make a statement, I would do it in a joking manner and take away the seriouness of such a subject like police brutality and corruption. Sorry dip, your the only small minded individual who cannot grasp the joke that you obviously werent in on, and no one asked you to be in on, but decided to flame about anyways.

cops in NYC dont get paid that great, as say compared to other surrounding areas (ie nassau county). so it isnt too hard to get in, but i believe you have to put your name in a lottery to even be called for a test. i think, as that is how it is where i live, which is the next county over from nypd.

| To become an LAPD it's pretty easy. There have signs all over the damn place "JOIN LAPD", now if you want to join the Los Angeles Sheriff department, that's a different story. It is much harder to get into that. The difference? One pays much more :p |
