hey sorry i dont usually post stuff like this but i was just listening to gc wet and this debate comes up sometimes...
I definitly think Gatecrasher Wet CD1 is the most amazing one it captures a unprecedented vibe of what i love about trance you can close your eyes and just go into the best paradise... with tunes like Mea Culpa - The Child, then Peubo Blanco then Saltwater its just so chilled and deep i love it of course the whoel cd is great but those 3 i think are the peak for me its a increble cd i think with a really really really incredible vibe its hard to explain :rolleyes: |

hmmm, thats a hard one, i like almost all of 'em.
probly the late set (disk 2) of Black.
maybe cos its one of the cds that got me into trance in the first place.
i haven't listened to the new one yet.

I can understand u 2 :)
Gatecrasher Black ist also the CD which got me into trance, i still like tracks like Pust - Universal Nation, Paul van Dyk - For an Angel or Boccachio Life - Secret Wish, but I think Wet CD1 is almost better. I like the new CD very much, too, becaus it has got a very good "style". hard to explain :) |

| Disco-Tech is my favroutire gatecrasher... awesome tunes and ive never got bored of it... especially seeing its this cd that got me realy into trance... farkin awesome stuff!!! |

| i've heard the new Album Gatecrasher:Digital. I think there are 2 trance CDs and 1 chilled CD to make it a compilation. Chilled wasn't very spectacular. i never listened to the second disk because of its unsatisfying playlist. however, i kept the first disk. It has a SPECTACULAR ending with Praetorian, Rank 1, System F and finally Push. Don't buy it. Download it. you'd be wasting 2/3 of the $ |

For me GateCrasher DiscoTech Generations was the best. Simply amazing cd :). I really didnt like Global Sound System, it was too... i dont know. Bland i guess. Im also liking the new cd ;)

My god i cant believe you are are saying this. Dont buy it.. the whole CD is amazing and then you say download instead of buying it. Now i have downloaded it and i'm still going to buy it when it gets here. I dont really believe you would condone just downloading something that would have taken a lot of time and money to produce. These CD's are perfect... you will not find another compilation mixed as skillfully and with such an amazing track selection unless you go back to Armin Van Buuren's Boundaries of Imagination. If anything you should buy the album people :D

| yeah the best one is wet... flollowed closely by discotech.... then the rest :) they are all wicked CD's (xcept national anthems which was tripe)... ive not heard the newest one yet... must... get.... digital... |

| Disco-Tech - Both CD's a spot on. The new one isn't too shabby (chillout isn't anything to write home about), the first CD being the best IMO. |

Global soundsystem, Disc 2 ... total spine tingling from start to finish ... brilliance!
Disc 1 has my all time favorite breakdown 'terra ferma - keep moving' on it, but it's got a bit of filler in there too.
I thought National Anthems was e, and I wasn't that impressed with Discotech (too prog for my taste) but I'm still gonna buy Digital, can't resist anything with a lion on it :clown: |
