BMW 7-Series M3?

So this is like an M3 with a 7 series V12? Cool combo i guess. I doubt the engine fitted straight in without any adjustments and extensions of the front of the car.
As far as i know, M3 has always had a straight/inline 6 instead of a V6. People just don't know what engine their car have..
Max power in a factory made M3 with a "sixer" has been 360hp. The powers just differ for different continents.. The US will get the 2005 M3 with 333hp and us Europeans get it with a 343hp. M3 2005 will most likely get also an optional V8 with 400+ hp (which might possibly be called M4, according to BMW's new naming policy). |

This ebay item is a joke. No engine photo, no information about conversion. I think the owner don't know what kind of engine this car has.
Btw the 760IL engine has got 445 bhp. |

This has to be a mistake or an ignorant owner. That V-12 would not fit in that car without extensive mods. Nowhere in the ad does it mention anything about this. If I was selling an M3 with a V-12 I would have in big bold letters at the top of the ad
One of a Kind M3 Modded with 7 Series V-12 Engine |

it says its an automatic, yet in the picture it has what looks like a manual shifter..... hmmmm.
I'm not big on BMWs, so maybe that is how their automatics look, but I somehow doubt it. |

That's what I thought too...however, after looking at the interior photos, I couldn't see the clutch pedal (maybe I'm blind?), so there is a good possibility that it is an automatic with a shifter that looks like a manual.
Now, one error that I did find is: "Doors: 4", hmmm...4 doors on a M3 convertible? :conf: :happy2: |

I'm kind of in the same boat, my Dads got a Merc S500 which I drive and its the same! Put your foot to the floor though :D
I don't do it but with Dad we have fun trying to get the idiot light to come on on the dash telling you that the traction control is being stretched somewhat.... |

i was just gonna say..i took a look at the engine bay of an Haman M3, .., after they put that m4 engine in there an ant couldn't squeeze through. Maybe this ebay guy is just confused by all the new models out now, :P |
