Need more infos on the A4. It's the one car I've actually seriously considered purchasing. If you could make a short list of pros / cons and your overall opinion I'd much appreciate it :) |
I really liked the luxuries in it. Mine was fully loaded: Sport package, really nice leather, heated seats, premium sound, etc... It was a really smooth ride and has decent status, if you're into that. I really liked the moonroof and power windows. Both front windows have auto features. Mine was auto with tiptronics and the sport package entails shifters on the steering wheel. It was cool, but not like a manual. It really wasn't all that fast. At least it didn't really impress me all that much. I test drove a 2.8, which had considerably more torque, but no turbo. When something fails in an A4 parts and labor are ultra expensive. The windows had some issues, but got fixed. It's a good car, but I doubt I would buy one again. Maybe an S4, assuming I had the scrilla. For the value it's pretty good though. I got mine with like 40000 miles on it for 18,600, because a friend of mine is a dealer and brought me to the auto auction. |

| How old was it when you bought it? $18,6 seems fairly pricey for 40k miles. |

I bought it when it was around 3 years old. Tires were shot, so that cost me another 500 for Yoko's, but, otherwise, it was in good shape. |

I need to dig up the pictures I took when I went to this Ferrari race. They had 4 f-50s there, a few f-40s and a buttload of testerosas. They also had one of the f-1s. I will see if I can get those pics scanned. |

I see them (Lambo) all the time right at the Tollway and 35; the dealership is about 1 mile north on 35 and I think that area is their test drive route. Regardless of how many times I see them, they amaze me every time.
The car that will make me turd in my pants when I finally see it on the road:
Ford GT :eyes:
I honestly think that, if given the opportunity, I would take that car over any other production car hands down. Never thought I'd be saying something like that about a Ford. :D |
