He was cool for the first hour and 1/2, and had me dancing like crazyyyy!! But he lost me for the rest of his set. I think there is way too much hype about him. He isn't as bad-ass as everyone makes it seem.
It turned out pretty cool for a Thursday night. I guess the preview for the movie LA DJ was there last night. I really want to see it now. After Cox spun his set, one of the actors from LA DJ came on and spun, but I couldn't take it anymore and left. I'm not sure if he was any good.
Tarek & Tigran... thanks for trying to keep my co-worker company. I think after last night, I'm not gonna carpool with him again. I don't feel comfortable around people who do hardcore drugs.
highlight of the night: When I was on the dancefloor with my buddies, and this cracked-out Asian couple came literally inbetween me & my friends, out of no where, and started doing the "sway" dance for a second, then started making-out! We all looked at eachother like "HELL F*CKING NO!!!!!". That's when I tapped them on the shoulder in the middle of their cracked-out make-out session and told them "I'm sorry, but I'm standing here with my friends". Then tranceaholic & dj_bas pushed those freaks out of the way!!!! :haha: ing crackheads lol!!! I don't feel any remorse for them anymore!!! It felt so good to push them way!!!! :D

| good review...dont think there is too much hype about cox..he has been doin his thing for a while now and was #1 dj twice like 8 years ago or something so for him to maintain a high standard nad not becoming a pop icon like other is well done..the first 1.5 hours were like dance heaven daaaam my feet fell off i think..the end of his set was so so...he works the decks like a machine..dude knows his and some kickass transitions..he grooves pretty well too...all in all a pretty decent night.. |

| oh man that was soooo funny pushing those crazy asians out of the way. and yah that actor from the movie was annoying as ...he had the levels waaaaayyy too high! i keptlooking at my friend and were like "what the f*ck is this guy doing?". there's no editing in real life buddy heh. anyway it was awesome hanging out with you guys and good to know that you actually remember me julia! heh. anyway can't wait for sasha when we do it again! |

| Thanks for the good review. I agree that Carl Cox is so passé but his name linger because he was on of the pioneers. For the crazy Asian couple, man I am Asian too and been parting for years, never acted like that. I notice this started happening about 2 years ago, I don’t know what is the solution. I don’t blame you telling them off cause I did the same thing last time at Tiesto@avalon |

| ^^^Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist. I have many cool Asian buddies and co-workers, but I am specifically talking about the FOB's who do so much drugs at these clubs, that they look like they are about to go in a coma. They ruin the vibe & atmosphere of the clubs. It wasn't too bad last night though. I've seen it worse! |

| I was in my own little world last night... hehehe, but I wont go out of my way to see him again... He didnt impressed me much... and that remix of Murder was the Bass sucked!!!!!! He should've rocked the harder version IMO... :eyespop: |
