Ever thought of 160 kbps? That's the point when I usually (through both speakers and headphones) don't hear any irritating decrease in quality. |

i was just kidding. i choose either VBR or 192. i would do 256 in the extreme circumstances. |

VBR isn't working with Trance. You probably save only 0.1 or 0.2 MB at the most because the fact that Trance constantly occupies the high shelf with the hi-hats and crashes.
It would work well with oldies, though:D |
