I know, I know I'm posting this in the wrong section, but I'd rather share it with you guys than with nobody I know in the California section.
Holy !! I never imagined that I would witness such a party in the U.S.A ! First ever USA Love Parade was in' UNBELIEVABLE !!!
Everybody was dancing - young and old, EDM fans and those who were hearing this stuff for the first time. It was NUTS !
I didn't know any DJs who were spinning, didn't catch any of the headliners, barely recognized any tracks - but none of that mattered, cause the vibe and the music were so great, that I just kept dancing from start to finish.. And so were the thousands of people who were all there(it's hard for me to even estimate how many people were there, but it felt like there were at least 100,000 thousand)
The crasiest vibe was at the Psy-Trance truck. I don't know who the DJ was, but it was some Indian guy, who looked like he just came back from GOA, and he was spinning absolutely crazy (Infected Mushroom style, I suppose). People were going nuts ! Pretty much everybody was sober, and I guess most of the people who were there don't even normally go to these parties, yet they everyone was dancing much harder than what I'm used to seeing at Guv, Kool Haus and other Toronto clubs.. One word: MADNESS !
I hope next year Temporal Rhythm will organize a flow as well :)
I'll post some pics soon. |

this is exactly how i felt in some parts of Europe .. there would be times where u didn't care who was playing or what was being played because the sheer energy and vibe coming from the crowd superceded any excessive scrutiny of the music which we're very akin to..

The by-law is half the problem...
Toronto people need to come out of their shells before they can ever dance like hell all night. Sure some small parties achieve this but not stadium sized crowds like many places ive been. |

i had a couple of memorable moments at massives on the CNE grounds .. i feel that TO can party just as well as anyone on this continent, but at this point that can't even be proven given these laws

| ive been partying for over a decade and i have yet to see the type of crowd energy in Toronto as i do overseas. Even when the vibe in Toronto was way better than it is today it never came close. Id settle for the old school vibe in Toronto though. Good times! |

LOL. Half the DJs there had long hair and were full of tatoos :D Seems like San Fran never really grew out of the whole hippie attitude(and yeah.. There were quite a few hippies at Love Parade).. |
