Sim,
I understand your point, but personally, in regards to your comment "une terre habitee par mille peuple du monde", isn't that the way it should be??? When will people realize that race, ethnicity, religion and so forth are superfluous man made constructs at the end of the day. People "need" these categories simply because they need a sense of identity. Being social animals, we need to identify with something larger than ourselves: a group, a tribe, a nation, or what have you. Unfortunately, people seem to identify with categories that are restrictive in a certain sense and fail to realize that the only category worth identifying with is Humanity. |
