what do you mean by sacred sacraments? How is bringing up a valid point blasphemy? And tobias I'm not being a , though I probably should have stopped talking long ago, but why can't you people respect some opinions different from your owns? |

| i have no mercy when it comes to pirating. I love doing it. If i distribute microsofts newest OS i will distribute tiestos newest promo or vinyl. To me its all the same. I know alot of people dont think that way. You cant stop piracy. When you think about the commercial with the stunt man who says he risks his life for making movies and pirating hurts him. Bull, he gets paid bank doing it or he wouldnt do it. I havnt paid for a movie for along ass time and movie's are still coming out and making millions. It isnt hurting them and downloading mp3's isnt hurting the artists. And they are making money off us so in a way they are ing us. Someone who trys to me, I them. Period |

It's not ripping them off. When I download a song off the Internet it is not ripping off an artist. And how is downloading the songs off this site not a blatant violation of the no file sharing policy? |
If I remember correclty, the songs available for download on TA have been given the go ahead by the producers themselves.
And as for them being 'well off' already.... you are pretty new to the scene aintcha? Only a VERY small percentage of producers out there are minted, far more are new or up n coming, they work hard, only to have some wankers dl their stuff for free? bah.
I'm proud to be a paying member of the vinyl community :) |

| And if those up and coming producers are any good, our file sharing will help them gain popularity and they can make bank when we go see them live. |

You can't come here and start asking for files. It's against the rules, rules that you should already be familiar with. You're avoiding the most important issue here. The issue is: This forum does not tolerate what you are doing.
And don't talk about valid points. That logical crap is not going to help you. Everything is a valid point, even if it happens to be false. You can't get anywhere with that. |

I doubt anyone has not broken some copyrighting law, whether that be burning a demo cd from vinyl or taping law and order off television, or whatever. But thats not the point here.
There are places to do certain things, and places not to do certain things, and trance addict does not support file sharing. So if you want to do it, then go somewhere else.
As for your argument, its the large record companies that make most of the money from albums, and its the promoters that make most of the money from tours. The artists get shafted a fair bit, but they also do okay. But even so mp3s and pirated software do reduce the amount an artist would make normally, and if you can justify it because they are so rich and whatever then thats your call. |

How do you hop a fence into a building? Anyway, my ignorant ass just found out today that file sharing is illegal here as I don't visit this site regularly. |

do we have to continue this topic of file sharing over and over again??
The rules of the forum prohibit file sharing, this is a precaution to avoid getting the whole site shut down.
Now, we don't want that to happend do we???? |
