they used to be my dad's favorite team.
i haven't been following the season, so i don't know how well/poorly they've been playing this year, but it's cool that they got into the playoffs at all. :)

I picked and still pick them over the Cards and to go to the WS. I just think the Red Sox have the best team in baseball when they play the right way. |

| The Dodgers and their fans are just happy to be in the playoffs (especially clinching the NL West against their hated rivals)...they suffered through the dark ages of Rupert Murdoch owning the team and having a GM who couldn't buy a playoff spot. |

Except for the relief pitchers, including an uncharacteristic performance by Rivera - he didn't even get anyone out before the Twins scored 2 runs to tie the game. They would've been ahead were it not for that bounce over fence.
Hopefully the Yanks can soon get the lead again and give him a chance to redeem himself. |
