"The throw to first... TWO! A double play!"
And I love that he calls a 'ground-rule' double an 'automatic double' because it really isn't a ground-rule double. A ground rule double is when the ball gets stuck in the ivy at Wrigley or gets stuck in the ladder on the Green Monster. |

| It's LIMA TIME! He was incredible tonight. One of the most dominant post-season starts from a mediocre pitcher that I've ever seen. Shutting out the Cardinals offense is a feat in and of itself... but for Jose Lima to do it is just phenomenal. Hats off to him. If the Dodgers somehow manage to win this series, they have no one to thank but Lima. The momentum and the rest for their bullpen (Brazoban and Gagne) was much needed. |

ooooh boy did that game rock :D
and lima was awesome tonight ... well, from the last 2 innings i saw anyways ... shutting out the cardinals is amazing, especially in postseason. and the dodgers' first postseason win since 88? that's nuts  |

Like you really thought it would happen any other way? I was just hoping they'd go to a game 5 and have to use Mussina. Curt Schilling v. Jon Lieber would've been interesting to watch. |

| I've been checking ebay for ticket prices and it's looking $200 a tix for upper deck at yankee stadium. I'd hate to see how much tix are going for in Fenway |

Yeah, i know. It just seems that the Twins were about to pull it off, and then the Yankees come from behind and win the game.. seeing them play 5 games would've been cool to see, i agree. |

I was really pulling for a Jaque Jones walk off in that game. It was set up PERFECTLY too because he led off the bottom of the 9th. A nice way to end their season would've been a Jaque Jones homer for his pops. |

Yep. Sucks. But with the combination of steroids and cocaine, it was bound to happen. Great player... |

Congrats to the Astros, for finally getting their first ever postseason series win!
And with no better way to do it than to cream their nemesis, the Braves |
