Really the only American car I would want is a Vette. Everything else can suck my nuts.

that used to be true. Theyve been pretty damn reliable lately. We need some new catechisms regarding car manufacturers that are more recent than 1972.
Its really annoying to hear people say these kind of absolutes. There are a lot of awesome vehicles that are coming out from American manufacturers these days.
And that sucks your friend got the evo, WRXs are walking over them in WRC :p
so is the focus :eyespop: |

Nite-mer, thanks. I think so too, although the e60 M5 will rape mine performance wise. To tell you the truth though, I think my e39 M5 is right at the border as far as luxury/sports car vs all out sports car... I think the e60 has crossed the line into just sick ass sports car (but it's only an opinion which i cannot even back up since i haven't driven one yet).
In regards to Ford and all American cars, I definitely agree.... Before my M5 I had a 1998 SVT Mustang Cobra... The car was okay, but nothing to write home to Mom about at all! Sure it was loud, and looked pretty nice, but couldn't handle for . To tell you the truth, I didn't feel comfortable driving it... it would break loose very often, was horrible in the wrong conditions, felt cheaply made, etc. But hey, you get what you pay for.
All my opinions obviously....
Everyone has a nice car here :)

Personally, I'm digging the new design of the 5-series tailights much more, but what i'm starting dislike in recent BMW is they're starting to imitate and follow asian designs. I remember Beamers were miles ahead of their games, but now it's as if they're losing the race and starting to chase more competitive brands from japanese auto-makers such as Lexus and Acura. Nowadays German automakers have a huge cometition, because they are not the only quality car makers in the world and are starting fall beind asian competitors.
Kinda sad cause i lose respect for makers that can't keep their own uniqueness and designns.
STILL MY FUTURE CAR!!:haha: |

JD Powers didn't pick Lexus as a #1 for just no reason. You might say Jap cars look like , but many cars today have strong japanese influences such as the smooth lights and design curves all around the car from Lexus designs. |
