Drum n bass
altho I love hearing drum n bass in clubs, or on great soundsystems ( so you can actually hear the low-level basslines) I just can't get into drum n bass while listening on my computer or in my car.
I bought Dieselboy - System Upgrade a few years back and i maybe listened to it just once.
I think many genres of EDM sound much better in a club atmosphere. Unfortunately its the only atmoshpere that I can tolerate it in. |

The only genre I can't stand is progressive house/trance/break/polka.
Really, I can listen to r'n'b and dance to it, I can listen to happy hardcore and jump to it (I go mental whenever I listen to speedcore)... I can even listen to power noise.
Anything really, but prog. (oh, and psytekk) |

my #1 hate is, was and probably will always be funky/french/disco house, especially of the cheesier kind.
#2 is most of the "hard", or "core" (sub)genres: hard trance, hard house, hardstyle, hardcore, terrorcore, speedcore, etc. used to like some of it in its cheesiests forms when i was getting into EDM but really not anymore. i see that many people listen to it just because they think listening to something "hard" makes them cool, i usually prefer more laidback and deeper stuff.
i dont like neither psy or tribal house, but i tolerate them, especially goa and the more proggy influenced tracks |

As much as I try, hardcore is just too skitzophrenic to me...

I think some of you people are being too narrow in your definition of what "can't get into" means. That, or maybe I have broader taste than most, but I really don't think I do.
The only genres I can never seem to get into, even though I've given them many chances, are some of the subgenres of jungle. I can do the atmospheric LTJ-Bukem thing, and the jazzstep thing, but I just can't seem to get the more industrial flavors of drum n' bass. They just don't resonate with me at all. I can easily enjoy happy hardcore, terrorcore, funky house, florida breaks, eurohouse, you name it, just about anything compared to industrial jungle. It does nothing for me. |

| Let's see... "Hard"-anything, EBM and super-uplifting bordering-on-cheese crap, the stuff on Anjuna and Armada ya know... makes me sick, especially a full set of it. The stuff PvD plays is alright, it's just the dutch trance that I don't like. |

| Oh yeah, I don't like Jungle and Drum'n'Bass either. Anything over 145-ish BPM... ugh. Now that I think of it, the song with the highest BPM I like is "The Auranaut - Yo Yo" (142 BPM), only 'cus it's so mellow and relaxing. |
