"making loads of cash"

Hmm I think the income potential of Djs is highly exaggerated and even worse very unpredictable. I have no doubt that those in the "Top 10" enjoy the fruits of their labor. I can’t say the same for performers who aren’t "ranked" as high.

Ultimately it is a precarious profession; one cannot predict the long-term stability of the job. You boast that they may have lots of cash but just look at how hard and how illusory that goal can be. Say they enjoy a six figure income, but what did it take to get there? While this is certainly admirable, one can enter so many other fields and with due diligence make equivalent amounts of "cash".

The proper medical residency, investment banking position, etc., will guarantee high income for years to come and most importantly the occupation is stable

You're a ing joke. All you do is come on here, act like a knob, and make an ass of yourself by saying retarded things. You also try to criticise people, you're in no position to do so. A lot of people like gabriel and dresden, just because you don't doesnt mean they are ... you are the epitome of ignorance ;)

WTF???

what is really wrong with Gabriel & Dresden.. :conf:

I really enjoy their work.. they make cool trance and progressive tracks and remixes.. I dont understand the anti-hype at all... I mean... As The Rush Comes was a really fresh and innovative track..

hmm.. I smell cheese in this topic :whip:

I have the As The Rush Comes single; love it, especially their version and AVB's version.

you dont have to use hardware because its bigger and more expensive than software. vst is taking over. also, recording plugins as audio, (bouncing each channel to audio) which is hardly rare, its a very good technique indeed and alot of people do it so that they can get perfect edits! Also, using percussion samples, so what? bach and beathoven didnt make every violin and trombone did they? lol. at the end of the day, if you end up with a good tune, then so what it doesnt matter how u got it.

To all you guys who are ripping G&D and making out that you could do better:

As the rush comes is GORGEOUS, and unless your one of these people who is so narrow minded that your ashamed to admit it because it did well and could be considered cheese by some, then u REALLY arent the right kinda person to be mixing with this industry. why post all this crap about g&d, they are doing well, (better than you lot) they are making people happy with their music, they are probably more talented than all or most of you, so in hell give them a break and shut up!

To the rest of you guys who agree with me, fair play its nice to see that some of you are a bit more open minded. This thread has really pissed me off we dont need ppl like u posting crap like that. if u dont like them keep it to your self, jeez
