onion: to be honest it doesn't matter what you think is trance or not. Of course you can have your own opinion about ATRC. I mean hey everyone can't think the same about everything.
What you can't do is say what's trance and not, youre not the one stating the standards for trance. It's the majority of listeners that do that.
ATRC is trance because the majority of the listeners would class it as trance so just swallow it like a man and try to realize the hard truth :) |

their tracks are their structure is no good and its all rather cheaply made. yes sometiems they do an odd thing good but to stand by them 100% and knowing full on that they drift into the cheeze section merely to make a profit is sicking. im not a knob i just state my opion and stand by my opions full on. you dont like it dont bitch just becuase i offended you. we arent 10 year olds we dont ahve to pissed off becuase one or two people dont like what you say is amazing.
now in reguards to comments of what ahve you done and you cant produce anyhting good. i personally enver said i can produce hell all my sounds like it was made on a 2yos toy and a radioshack brand keyboard. so ohh well, atleast i dont suck everyones so they will think im cool and an amazing person. so dont ing whine like a little becuase i offend you. and yes they are their tracks dont have flow most the time and they are very into putting out as many as they can simple so they will get plasterd everywhere. given its brillant advertisement, but we arent talking about that here we are talking about music and a passion to make it. if you want a big profit gain get some skanky bitches who can sing and produce 3minute pop tracks taht consists of 4measure hooks and do it that way. dont flood your tie onto people who dont en care.
now it like my opion or not i dont give a just before you go and hate becuase i have an opion take a second and to relise how en stupid you look for attacking someones opion. your worse then a spoiled 10year old........ when they do somethign good i compliment it but the has been so crappy taht ive pretty much stoped listening to anyhting they do. as with most well known artists these days they ahve good tracks they have bad ones i just think its more so pop then anything else.
ohh and your right i might be a knob but atleast i dont suck peoples s so they think im cool, im sure if the majority was goign at not liking them youd probly say they were crap instead of saying how inventive they are and all this other ..... ing poser fanboy |

devil first off, don't rack down on popproducing. It's not as easy as you want to think it is.
if it's your own opinion that they suck then so be it, it's your opinion and you should of course stick to that!
what I don't like is when you are saying all that about G&D without even knowing them. How do you know that their only goal is to make loads of money? How can you know a single bit of their intensions with making music?
it's people like you that get evil rumors started and going without any grounds to them :whip:

well because of the famous-syndrome I guess, 2 reasons.
#1 the people that disslike(because they have different taste) the music send taunting messages about their music because the creator is famous and then the creators don't have fealings any more, they'r just icons.
#2 just because the creator is famous they taunt them to show everyone else and themselves that they are unique and/or rebellious.
EDIT: devil: I had a hard time understanding the original post of this thread but I'm pretty sure it's not about venting your opinion of G&D. like vizay said; thats your opinion. it's just a matter of personal taste. there is no purpose of posting negative messages here. in that case start a new thread "101 reasons why G&D sucks" :)

where are your tracks? post a few, I want to see how great they are. I'll hype you as the next big thing, if they are great but I reckon if they were the greatest, they would have been already signed.
Dave Dresden does not care about others trashing him. He is getting gigs and he is getting a lot of remix work. You realize that he was already making money in the industry, long before most people got into this. He was tongy's PR scout for FFRR and he was the one that got Wave 3 signed. I may not enjoy G&D's music these days but at least I respect them, they put in countless hours making and perfecting their craft and people enjoy it. So I think Dresden is a happy man, he is making money, people enjoy what he does and he is getting validation. I may dislike Armin, PvD and Tiesto these days but those guys worked their asses off to help push the scene where it is today and all of them are responsible for some of the greatest times of my life. |

You have not given me a valid reason behind any of your points. How do you know they don't spend days in the studio for remixes?. You can trash Dresden, all you want but anytime someone goes on about quality of tracks, I rather see what they can make. |

| they might not be all about making money maybe they just dont care to put forthe effort. ohh and about the tracks said didnt i state my tracks are and that what i can do production wise has nothing to do. and no my first post was nothing more then me laughing at the question and the response... i just felt it was needed for me to clearfy for people who get offended so easily. and what the does it matter what vie done or not done that doesnt change the way i rate production quality. because i produce at a kindergarden leveal means i dont know anyhting about production quality? come on here if your going to talk atleast dont be so stupid about it. riding an pony becuase it used to be good is never gonna let you win the race. as i stated theyve done good but recently its been as with alot of people that have been aroudn for a while it just happens its kinda the trendy thing to do these days aparently.... |

| what points do you want. the non variation of their production the lack of fullness to the track the way its overally repeative or the way that the sounds are recycled from thier previous tracks and stick mostly sound the same. this is mostly to all their recent tracks. |
