lol so their LEGAL DEPARTMENT is saying it was all a marketing gimmick to advertise their services to the public!?! what a load of bull.
and they expect producers to turn the other cheek and "develop a friendly beneficial partnership" after what has happened here? what a bunch of idiots.
Worst business model ever. |

after reading that it looks fine, so long as they stick to what they are saying although i still don't know how exactly they can contact you if they don't know who the song belongs to |

| That's wrong, you are making labels contact you after they did it to you. I'm still certain and some labels will sue. |

As well they should. Even if JetGroove in defense says they weren't selling the tracks, they were only ON HOLD until the labels approved a deal, then the labels can still make a case of JetGroove posting samples of the tracks on the website for people to listen to. This whole thing was just a really, really dumb idea. |

| Regardless of what they wrote as a disclaimer on 10/9 it doesn't change the fact that they have made it publicly known that these tracks and/or remixes exist and used the words licensed and compensation on their FAQ page. They implied that all of the artist's authorized the tracks to be listed for DL. |

'Time Lapse' is up there, and they sure as didn't get permission from myself or Gesture Music =P
I let my label know, though I doubt much will be done. |

| Most little labels won't do a thing but I'm sure when the BIG 5 finds out or the RIAA decides to get up off their asses, something will happen. |

Man JETGROOVES!
This pisses me off. All these talented producers getting they're masterpieces ripped off of.
Amber, way to show them. Rock on! |

I got an email earlier advising they had been removed. I checked and everything associated with Terry has been taken down.

Yes yes, how does that make it any worse for the producers.
And it seems we're almost finished with our first week of advertising this site which isn't going down judging by its latest news in which they explain why what they're doing is legal. I don't get it. Is TA against this site, or are they now simply trying to inform artists so that those artists can have their tracks removed if they so choose? |
