this is the second website of this kind im seeing this month
the first one is www.discobus.org its in russian though, so if you wanna read it, read it via babelfish

funny thing about the russian site, they didnt even bother to modify file/dir names, and all the names still have the group suffixes on them

and btw, im pretty sure that both those sites rely only on the scene, i wouldnt worry about them going around the forums downloading tracks by themselfes, they only have whats available in the scene

ok, there host has been traced and someone i know phoned them and they got confirmation that they indeed are hosting- he.net

mails to - [email protected], they want to 'get the ball rolling'

a bit late, youd think they would check what was on site before allowing such a potentially huge site with big traffic/bandwidth to be hosted,

anyway - email away to that address apparently, as they are waiting to investigate

These aren't english names, I'd say Russian. So JetGroove would be Russian as well.

I don't think they're actually selling the tracks before they get a lisence from the artist/label to do so. However, I'm not agreeing to any kind of lisence they're offering me (and I'm sure Mart agrees with me) since I do not want to be associated with any site that sells me back my own product... not to mention the fact that our tracks were both in their demo form...

Besides, how many labels are actually going to make a deal with them? They've even got the fake Armin "76" album for sale there...

bit of a lie that isn't it considering Mr M didn't grant anything to Jetgroove?

...nor did anyone of us. They keep contradicting themselves constantly.

They already made the intention of selling it because the price is right next to the tracks! I think that's not allowed as well!

you're right. it isn't allowed

putting a price next to the product is legally considered as "an offer" in contractual terms....the price is the "consideration" that would be paid for the product

if someone clicks on buy, that means he has "accepted" the offer and the pending the fulfillment of the "consideration", the site is will be legally obliged to give the person the product

as long as the offer has been made it shows every intent of selling and you can't stop people from accepting the offer as long as the fulfill the consideration

no serious label would sign with them nor would any self respecting producer,
i believe each one of the tracks on their website has been released in the scene at one point or another.
i also dont believe what they wrote to you in that automatic email response.

why the hell would they invest all the time and effort they did unless the site is fully operational by now? :conf:
