PVD makes comment about FUR, DC

Read this on the glowboard and looked on pvd's website to make sure its real, and it is:

Washington FUR
I have heard about the misconduct of the security/door personnel at FUR in Washington DC before and during my recent performance there.You should know that even I had a hard time getting into the venue (although possibly not because of the sneakers I was wearing that night) and that I also received my share of rudeness from the staff. I would have turned around and left but for my responsibility to the people who had made it into the club and who had paid to hear me perform.Obviously what happened at FUR is not acceptable and I will not tolerate this type of mistreatment of my fans anywhere in the world including Washington DC. Please rest assured that my team is currently working on finding the best solution to ensure that this problem will not recur.Paul van Dyk

| Yeah Ian sent this to me earlier. Thats pretty cool of him but I think the problem is pretty much sorted out.....well I hope so. We will see next time PVD or Tiesto come to town. |

i'm just glad he didnt say he wasnt coming back b/c of it. the whole time i was reading it, i had a lump in my throat thinking that's what he was going to end up saying.

I think that was really nice of him..
There have been a lot of problems when a lot of these big name dj's come into town... which I think is horrible.. its like Tiesto was saying in his Q&A its hard because the club promoters pack the club to the gills and its like the DJ's have no say which sucks..
There are a lot of things that have to change as far as the clubs are concerned. |

yeah i would... i save up my fridays so that when someone just HAS to book him on a friday, i can actually take off for it. but i hate taking off fridays.... missing out on good $ |
