I see. So you Conservative folks can cry "conspiracy" and "bias" whenever you so please, but the reverse cannot occur against your bumbling candidate who might actually need outside help with his debates?
Quite revealing, really. |
your damn right we can! you can't hide from the fact that you have no rational explaination for what appears on the internet. so you start crying conspiracy.
Quite sad, really. |

Q, I hope you understand that I view these conspiracies against either candidate in a half-jocular manner. If, indeed, any of these come to fruition, I'd be damn surprised. I highly doubt anything will come about from this. But I do feel that turnabout is fair play on you Conservatives every now and then. For example, I'm sure you were familiar with Drudge comin' out and trying to demonstrate whether or not Kerry flipped out a "cheat sheet" during the 1st debate. As it turned out, that backfired on him:

Not only did it turn out that Kerry had a pen (thanks be to Fox News of all places):
http://www.dailyrecycler.com/blog/2...ery-solved.html
But if you view Bush instead of Kerry in that film, you'll actually see Bush flipping out a paper of sorts. What the hell was that?
Anyways, no, I don't deem it as terribly pertinent, nor do I think it will go very far. So don't worry, I doubt the liberal bloggers will get your man much further on this.
Still kinda fun, though.:D |

And finally, what's that behind Bush's tie (just above his left hand)?:

Interesting, ain't it? |
 obviously you've never worn a tie before |

I find it terribly funny that you went to all the trouble of writing such an intelligent post using words like jocular and fruition when at the same time the context of said post was on Kerry having a pen and Bush having extra paper. Egads! No! Those cheaters! |

ask yourself the question: whats more plausible, that the President of the United States would risk the election by wearing a wire (such a visible one at that) OR
its not a cable its the smaller second half of the tie that goes in back

Always glad to give you a chuckle.
I'll assume you didn't know the true context of what I posted, so I'll indulge you quickly and give you a quick background:
Immediately after the 1st debate, Mr. Drudge posted a quick flick on Kerry, and had someone speculate as to what exactly Kerry flipped out of his hand. Drudge, being the evil speculative genious that he is, insinuated that Kerry was possibly cheating - because under the strict guidelines of the debates, no extra sheets of paper could be used other than the clear sheets of paper on the podiums for the debators to write notes on.
Well not only was it clearly shown that Kerry wasn't cheating, because he had a pin withdrawn instead of some sheet of paper, but it seems as though it was, ironically, Bush who had drawn out and unfolded a piece of paper that had come from his side pocket. Hence, the irony of Drudge actually possibly busting his own personal candidate. And hence, my turnabout is fair-play sentiment about demonstrating how Bush may have possibly be cheating not in one, but two debates so far.
Now you can take that for what it's worth (not much, I'll assume), but personally I just like pointing out the lovely irony and contradiction of the conservative media/mouthpieces, and turning the tables a bit on them. But do I personally think much of this issue enough to cry "foul!" and take off my tin foil hat here?
As I stated earlier, my answer is a resounding, "no". And that answer would be the same for either candidate, and the supposed conspiracy theories surrounding both. |

Well I'll bite on this a bit further -
Let's say that it is the smaller second 1/2 of the tie. Take a close look at that supposed cable/smaller 2nd 1/2 - now tell me, have you ever seen a smaller 2nd 1/2 of a tie so gosh darn thin? I mean, it's almost cable thin!
Oops, did I just say that? |
