Try waiting at least 24 hours. He is providing a free service, after all, and changing servers isn't always a quick thing, typically it takes a few days. |

Ah-hem...
what you're doing had better not be illegal... your user i.d., by some weird coincidence, is the same as my real name (I've been "outed"...). Being a songwriter, I might be working with these ppl some time in the future, and I do not plan to catch any sh*t from illegal MP3 trading...So either change your user i.d., please, or stop what you're doing. |

smorin23 - my username I have had here for a year or more and is also some form of mixup of MY own name - so NO I wont be changing my username!
To answer your questions:
NO it's not illegal to share livesets broadcast on free-to-air radio.
I also know personally some of the DJ's who's sets I host and they know that too!
NO I never share / trade any commercially copyrighted mp3's.
NO I wont stop sharing DJ livesets.
Man some people have nuffin' better to do than moan!! |

My new server isnt online yet and my old one is now expired so I cant FXP the sets accross, so it's unlikely I will re-upload many of them :( |

114. Scope of exclusive rights in sound recordings
(1) Exempt transmissions and retransmissions. — The performance of a sound recording publicly by means of a digital audio transmission, is not an infringement of section 106(6) if the performance is part of a nonsubscription broadcast transmission.
