South American Music COnference in Buenos Aires Argentina. Fly through the states and its $700 for the flight to the current cheapest country in the world. You can be full at Mcdonalds for less than $2 Canadian for example. And look at the lineup!! Lots of Canadian talent too. If I go its time to break out the Canadian flag again LOL. Anybody interested?

I was there for 4 months. You can pretty much work without a visa. All you do is call institutes and tell them you want to teach. You can make 15-20 pesos an hour. You can also have private students at 20-25 an hour. Just put an ad in the paper. After your tourist visa (free stamp at customs) runs out just go to punta del este uruguay for the weekend and come back and you get another 3 months.
Rent is about $200 cdn a month for a decent place and if u share its practicially nothing and food is cheap not to mention partying. In 4 months, $5000 covered going away all over the country, 4 months rent, utilities, cable, and groceries. Eating out every night almost. partying like mad and living almost like money was no object. I could have lived on less than 1500 cdn if i really wanted to.
You wont make much to bring back after exchange but when you are making 20 pesos an hour and rent is 500 pesos to live by yourself (downtown) you can do the math and see that you wont even need to work that much in the first place. Go there with about $2000 saved (or more if you really want to do alot) and then make money at your leisure. |

oh yeah... and i even took a bag of cheap glow sticks and sold them at creamfields and other parties.
Argentines missed the era when glow sticks were actually cool (sometime in the early 90s) so most have never seen them before.
I sold out in 3 hours and made about 300 pesos
LOL
LUCICITAS!!! SOLO 5 PESOS NADA MAS!!!
ahahahahahhahahah |
