emotional pain Vs physical pain

i was thinking (something i shouldnt be doing) and i thought of a question one of my friends asked me a few years back.
what is worse?
the worst possible emotional pain? e.g a super heartbreak or a death in the family or whatever it might be that puts you in emotional agony.
or
the worst of worst physical pain? e.g surviving a plane crash and lying in a field unable to move with multiple broken bones and damaged organs and you arent going to die any time soon.
for some the answer to this question might be simple but to others not so simple. you can recover from both types i guess, but what is the one you least likely want to experience? |

if you have a strong enuff will .. you can overcome any emotional pain
some physical injuries are permanent which thus can result in greater emotional pain
imho !

Hahah I like the way you think.
I'd call that an example of both physical and emotional/mental, because yeah you're totally busted up, but you are laying there with the thought of knowing that your days are numbered. |

| Serious emotional pain makes people disoriented. I think seeing no purpose in life is much worse than physical pain. |

wait till you cant run, or dance or walk because it feels like you knee is going to fall off after 10 minutes.
physical is worse.
emotional leaves deeper scars, but they can be repressed or dealt with. Lots of physical problems cant be fixed. |

physical is wayy worse....emotional pain will go away eventually, but sometimes physical damage can last forever....and drugs can always fix you if yer sad hahahah jk....or am i lol...yes yes i am :) haha
