I'm starting to really enjoy this thread. Even though it started over D!abolic, but so much more is coming out...
But aren't you people being hypocritical?
Is all this talk of mud-wrestling and whores truly any better than the BS d!abolic puts out?
I know he makes some pretty pointless and sometimes offensive comments, but don't we all?
My opinion might be a result of the fact that I haven't been posting in this group for an extended, long period of time (thus I don't remember the "good old days", but to me, the TOTA forum is just our own little local music, clubbing, and chillout forum all in one. We talk about local events, local music, and share our own individual local points of view. There's no "Toronto music forum" or "Toronto chillout forum"... just one forum for everything, and if you only want to contribute to the clubbing/partying discussion, then don't complain about the others who want to contribute to the non-party-related aspect of the group.
We have all sorts of threads and discussions going on in this group... political, musical, philosophical, club-related, and even the completely pointless ones. Some of us like to talk about politics, some of us like to talk about music, and some of us like to talk about sex with Asian chicks. Big f%^&ing deal. We're one community. Not every post/thread will be liked by everyone... there are plenty of threads that I don't post it, and many that I don't even bother reading... and we all have the freedom to do the same.
We ALL post things that might be annoying to some other people. Life goes on. We just need to have the maturity to not let little things like this anger us. |
