Do you like Above & Beyonds older releases or newer releases the best??

i've been a fan of these guys right from the start, and i think they're absolutely amazing and my favorite producers! i figure they've gone through 2 eras...there beginning with all their remixes and most focus on the above and beyond/oceanlab guises, and now the new era with more focus on their label and their artists, radio show and trying to keep everything undercontrol of their new found stardom of the last year or so.
the older tracks i like the most are:
perpetuous dreamer - the sound of good bye (above and beyond remix)
oceanlab - clear blue water (above and beyond remix) ferry's mix is good too
aurora - ordinary world (above and beyond remix)
anjuna beats - volume 1 (above and beyond remix)
dirt devils - the drill
chakra - home (above and beyond remix)
and for the newer stuff:
britney spears - everytime (above &beyond remix)
above and beyond - no one on earth
above and beyond - far from in love
aalto - taurine
tranquilty base - surrender
etc.etc.
personally i like everything by these guys...but there older stuff still holds a special place for me!!! the older stuff i found to be very emotional and extremely quality...now they're trying to broaden there horizons a bit...and i like there new stuff a lot...but for me the old stuff is no.1 |

i must say i like the newer released by Tony, Paavo, and Jono the most. i love all their work but i am generally new to electronic music (only been listening for a couple of years). however, it isn't like i don't know what i'm talking about; i've gone back and found all their older work and am currently infatuated with their newer style. some tracks i really love are:
-Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston - No One On Earth << all mixes but especially Above & Beyond's San Francisco Mix
-Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base - Surrender << absolutely love this song, words simply cannot describe...
-Britney Spears - Everytime (Above & Beyond Club Mix) << i also want to mention The Scumfrog Vocal Mix which is a smashing prog mix
-Delerium feat. Sarah Mclachlan - Silence (Above & Beyond's 21st Century Mix) << while i still respect the Tiesto remix, this is definitely my favorite
-Dido - Sand In My Shoes (Above & Beyond's UV Mix) << awesome proggy-trance remix, sounds very g&d to me, i love g&d and a&b so it works for me :)
-Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Above & Beyond's Dynaglide Mix) << not my favorite mix (i prefer Sweeping Strings) but a great trance'd out version (armin did his thing too!)
-Oceanlab feat. Justine Suissa - Satellite << i have 14 mixes, love the a&b version and markus schulz' remix the most
that's nothing, i just listed w/e came into the top of my head. currecntly listening to Mixmag's "Laser Kissed Trance mixed by Above & Beyond" :D! |

| Yip thier older stuff was quality, more uplifting, i still absolutely love their new stuff but tunes like "Razorfish" (A&B Prog Mix) "WIFLFAG" (A&B Mix) "Home" absolute choons. "Razorfish" is in my Top 5 of all time. But songs like "Far from in love" are classics too, i love Kate Cameron. Now their style has turned more proggy tho it's still very good. |

I like the new style they're going in, i.e their Ferry Corsten remix
but the original of Taurine is one of my faves of this year, the euphoria in that track :eyes: |

The older stuff to me is like gold dust.. I suppose your platter changes when produce over a perod of time.. For me its got to be these..

3.Vivian Green - Emotional Rollercoaster (Above & Beyond Remix)
