WARNING THIS THREAD HAS SPOILERS! :wtf:
I'm torn between Gladiator, Braveheart and Saving Private Ryan. Not to mention, Terminator 2 and Return of the Jedi, but if I had to pick just one, easy. Gladiator. The musical score by Hans Zimmer and Lisa something make it even sadder. I saw Gladiator in the theatre when it first came out and I heard A LOT of people sobbing and crying during that scene, so it gets my vote. :( |

Id have to say Gladitor also....Its just sad A person gone from a great general....to slave...then to a gladiator fighting for his life....
Plus what happen to his family,makes it even more f**ked up:( |

LOL. Before I even saw the replies I was going to post a reply that said Bambi. :D
Since my idea got taken, I'd have to go with Saving Private Ryan. I'm a war buff, so that movie hit me. |

| Other: Javier Bardem in Mar adentro (Sea inside??? I don't know if this movie has gone out of Spain yet). The whole movie is about how he wants to die and how is he going to do, and the moment when he leaves his home after saying goodbye to his family is one of the saddest things I remember. |

Where is Bruce Willis in Armageddon? He died so the WHOLE world could live...
And I think Jesus' dead in The Passion should be mentioned too.... completely innocent

Well said, dude. Yeah, they should be mentioned. I've only seen those movies you mentioned once, so that's why I didn't list them here, but other than that, those are excellent choices to add. I guess they'll have to go under "Other" since I can't edit my own poll. |
