no offense jay ;)

ya crossfire is good entertainment, but it certainly doesn't do anyone any good. Its just bickering and insults from the first minute to the last. There's so much hatred of the opposing ideals the actual issues always just end up getting lost in the dust. Stewart is absolutely right.

Just shows that people are interested in politics after all :)

No one said people aren't... just you tend to suck the fun and interest out of things :toothless

Jon Stewart, surprisingly is the only politics i take seriously - go figure and hes on Comedy Central.

Kytracid
Bill Maher has a caustic wit i appreciate as well. Actually, when you look at the role comedians have, it's easy to tell that these are actually some of the smartest people out there, because they have the ability to look at a particular situation that's actually quite serious, and find the humour in it.

I'll take a comic with the ability to make me laugh any day of the week over some snobby partisan hack whose only agenda is to shove his opinions down my throat.

Its not the politics of it that have us interested
its john stewart ripping people who consider themselves serious to pieces over how poorly they do the job he thinks they shoudl be doing.
