Im not anti-CD if they are used properly. Guys like Zabiela and Freeland take it to a whole new level by doing things with the Cds and samplers that cannot be done with vinyl. My problem is with the guys who use CDs solely out of laziness. If you are too freaking lazy to carry a couple of boxes of records on your round the world journeys then you are not worth $30,000 per gig im sorry to say.

well artists like oakenfold, sasha, tiesto:rolleyes: , AVB, ferry corsten, to name a few are among the 30 G range.... oh and PVD as well....but PVD is the only one that has switched to final scratch so.....

well usually experts are paid for their opinions or their work in the field. not sure what you actually did in the guv, but i dont think you were getting paid for your expert opinion, please correct me if im wrong.

Expert: noun

1. A person with a high degree of skill in or knowledge of a certain subject.

1. a) The highest grade that can be achieved in marksmanship.
b) A person who has achieved this grade.

Expert: adjective

Having, involving, or demonstrating great skill, dexterity, or knowledge as the result of experience or training.

If we falls within that definition from dictionary.com, he's an expert. Has anyone here heard Jayx1 spin? Does he demonstrate great skill on the turntables?

I'm not a big fan of his threads/opinions but he did state his opinion in this case. Lets not change the topic of this thread to "why is jay wrong again".
