The "experts" are saying that because everyone expects a HIGH voter turnout this year, and typically in election years with high voter turnout the democrats win. So, the republicans are hoping more scare tactics will keep people from voting.
And, according to an article on Tribe from infowars.com, Osama has been spotted in China and negotiations are underway for the US to go in and find him!

looks like another war is underway :whip: |
If you could get some more credible source on this i would like to read more into it.
If its true it would be a big mistake. Iran in not Afghanistan or Iraq. They are much more powerful and have money to become even more powerful. If the US decided to attack Iran it will be a worse war then Vietnam.... |

I'll try to find some more on this, but regardless of this article Iran is the next agenda of both with Kerry and Bush,so you'll be hearing alot more about Iran in the coming months.
I wonder if Bush is stupid enough to attack Iran. Iran alot of power in the region and are the only country left with balls to attack and destroy Isreal, and we all know how precious Isreal is to the U.S . so it'll be like signing a death wish for Isreal for attacking Iran. |

Please. One nuke, and the story would end right there. ( and if the US can drop two on Japan -- then i can only imagine how many Isreal should be allowed to drop, considering they're basically surrounded by enemies who only have one purpose in mind -- complete annihilation of the jewish state.
Afghanistan first, Iraq second...fcuk invading Iran, just drop a couple of bombs on the houses where some of those fanatical Iranian clerics live and the problems solved. Those lousy bastards definately need to be taken out. |

Not the country. I mean precise strikes against key players that are responsible for sponsering terrorism, and it's not such a radical idea either. Isreal has already got a list of men who are marked for death because of the role they play in spreading hate and posioning the mind of their people, and childern against the US and Isreal.
Now I don't support the US, and i'm not muslim. But i was around in the country where the US embassies were attecked ( a precursor to the 9/11) attacks. There is definately an element of hatred in the middle east unlike anything the world has seen before, and what makes it so horrific is that this so called jihad is being faught by kids, because they've been brainwashed by these ass backward savages (also known as the clerics). They put the gun in their kids hand, and tell them it's ok to die for Allah, and that this assures them a place in heaven...They push them onto the planes, buses, restuarants and tell their kids to detetonate themselves. What kind of ed up person does that ? I have nothing but hatred for these so called men of religon who stand utop their ivory tower and send their youth (the future of their country) to their certain death.
That's why i wouldn't shed a tear if the US/Isreal or any other Government went into places like Iran, Iraq, Libya, Saudi Arabia and just assinated those bastards while they slept.
I wouldn't support a full scale invasion of Iran, and trust me -- nothing of the sort will happen anytime soon. The US is stretched out pretty thin as is, no way they are going into Iran without cleaning up the mess that is Iraq. But do i believe there is a threat in Iran ? You bet i do...and it's in the mosques, in the teaching of the mulahs who poisions the minds that they should be educating.
Edit: The part about dropping a nuke on Iran was in response to Hardcore trancers post, and if you seriously think that Isreal would stand around and take missle attacks from a inferior army like Irans without responding with devastating counter attacks of their own, then i'm sorry you're just naieve to the situation down there.
I'm not saying they should drop a nuke in the middle east. But i definately believe they should bomb the houses that harbour some of these so called religous leaders. |

Well you made it more clear this time. Sure theres nothing wrong with taking out certain individuals. Your first response made it seem like droping a nuke would solve all the problems. Yet the one individual who poses the most danger hasn't yet been taken out.

I agree, it is ed up. Yet to me it sounds very close to what Bush and Co. do. |

Hey, I agree completely. Bush is an ideolog who went to war for all the wrong reasons, and honestly i've never once supported his presidency. But here's what i believe. There was a problem brewing in the middle east, and long before 9/11 anyone who has lived outside north america would have told you that it was just a matter of time before some terror cell from the region would strike. It was inevitable given the deep resevoir of resentment that the people in that region have towards Isreal and the US.
So, while i'm hoping that Bush loses the upcomming election, i am glad that he did go into Iraq and get rid of Saddam (WMD or not) because the guy was always going to be a threat (and lets face it, all he did was torture, kill and take from his people). While i'm not a big fan of watching America (world police) do it's thing, i am glad there's a big dog out there, taking a bite out of some of the most vile people on earth.
Should they have invaded Iraq. No. They should have finished Saddam off in the Gulf War by sending in special forces when the republican guard was in disarray. Should they have invaded Afghanistan ? Yes. Absolutely. The taliban needed to be destroyed. Unfortunatley the US stalled with their plans and didn't finish the job off, and now Osama is on the run again.
The war however doesn't end with Saddam or Osama or even all of Al-Kayeda. Those are just the faces of evil that are most familiar. It's the evil that hids in the mosques and brainwashes their kids that i want to see removed. Till then, i don't think the middle east will ever have peace.
(ps, no violence begets violence speech either folks...the religon of Islam was born out of violence. To some degree, that is a part of Islam which is emphasised heavily whenever you hear about terrorist recruiting the next soldier for their holy war) |
