I'm starting to produce hardstyle as well. I would love to exchange some tips and techniques on how to create a perfect hardstyle bass line. By the way, when I say hardstyle I mean most of the productions released under Blutonium Boy label. I think it's my favorite hardstyle label. Le Brisc, Blutonium Boy, Analog Disturbance, Beholder and Ballistic, Trance Generators are some of my favorite producers.

WELL.. no rightly...
german hardstyle is based of mix of hardtrance and techno.. it's also called techtrance..

and as i said in my firs post dutch hardsyle is based on gabber. its a lot slower and it contains techno elements and sometimes trancy melodies.

you cant say it's hardtrance when theres some guys form uk...becouse those think like aaaa bk, nick sentiensed, rafferty, k90, ...becouse thats uk styleee

No it is really a mix of hardtrance & hardcore - like, soft hardcore at around 145-150 bpm.

the songs idea was playing with that vockal sample and play it like synth... i like that sound!!

what about tracid? someone dig it? combine of trance and acid? kai tracid's tracidtracks label? good sound also!

i know nukleuz is a hard house label (dunno about nukleuz black - maybe i should take a listen to some). what you describe as hardstyle is basically what i would call freeform. cuz freeform has a trancy, melancholic, sophisticated, hard edge to it. hardcore generally isnt really that subtle. but freeform can be.

last year i went to a boat party in southampton advertised as playing hard acid style. basically it was very nasty hard house on the upper deck and dirty, dirty hardcore on the lower deck (bordering on gabba.). in reality it was father (nu energy collective) going nuts on 2 viruses and a waldorf Q with his PC churning out vicious distorted kick drums that percs that cheesegrate your brain into radioactive puree. made upstairs sound like tea time at grans.

hey dude freeform is totally something else. frrform is based hardenergy, rave, gabber (hardcore) and hardtrance. freeform is big thing in here, becouse we have so many freeform producers in finland.

our to hard dj proteus is playing every time some finnish freeform songs.

proteus and kevin eneryg (owner of nunrg collective) just realeased nwe track " london helsinki underground connection"

all nunrgcollectives freeform sections songs arent freeform correctly... those are pure rave with female vockals....
