But when people on here have tried any kind of painkiller, it is ignorance to say they will never do heroin, because they have basically already done it. What you should say is I will never inject anything. |
the general image that anyone conjures up in their mind when they think "heroin", is someone injecting it into their vein, so i was saying it in a general way.
not to mention, the effects you get from shooting it are different than the effects you get when taking morphine or other painkillers orally, like you said... heroin is a much stronger more intense high. |

Nope.
If you inject morphine or oxycontin or any drug at all, it gives you a more intence high. The drug being heroin has nothing to do with it. It's just that people inject it becuase they can't afford to do it any way else, or welse they start feeling withdrawl.
If you smoke or rail heroin, it's effects are the same as if you smoked or railed morphine or opium. Your brain reads everything the same, and it reads heroin the same as any other opiates, however you take it. But you are right about the image thing. |

Anybody who has tried any kind of pain killer associated with opiates has tried heroin. Sorry, but its true.
|
Actually, it's not. Just because opiates form a drug class does not mean they are all the same. Endorphins are essentially opiates, for example, but are not "the same as" heroin. |

I know that this site is largely anti-drug, but since im an advocate for recreational drugs, and since this is a TRANCE site, ill put the question to you. What drugs do you take?
Personally i love MDMA and speed. I dont drink much since alcohol is boring.. but i love a massive session of bongs with the windows up in my car.
Although there drugs that i would never touch.. like heroin! |
If I had a list, it would probably be choice "D" meaning all of the above at one time or another.... Down to about alcohol these days. If I think about heading downtown to score a few lines of crank or some speed, then I just down 3-4 more beers right quick and the feeling kinda fades.

How did you take tryptamine? I thought it was poisonous anyway.
However, many drugs are classified as "tryptamines" (e.g. n-DMT, psilocybin, 5-MeO-amt, and even serotonin and melatonin). |

| Other than some alcohol every once and awhile. Nothing. I have no desire to do drugs. My life is fine the way it is, and I don't feel the need as... I think it was Halcyon, said, to escape reality. |

The effects from endorphins are extremely similar to those of morphine in tests done on mice...and morphine is also an endogenous opiate. Heroin is a whole mess of opiates as extracted and refined from the opium poppy, a lot of which are converted to morphine in the liver. |

I know they are not "the same" as heroin, but your receptors in you brain read them the same. Every opiate is essentially the same, but since there is so much reformation of the drug, it is different and the same chemically. All in different forms, they do the same thing. I just hate the fact that people who have done an opiate condem heroin when they have basically done it in a different form. And I'm not condoning heroin at all for the record. |
