Sterno's not cool and rubbing alcohol sucks too. Gypsum Weed, Ginseng Berries, now we're talking. BTW, they're poisonous in volume, but halucenogenic in smaller doses. Hey love the Flint sig. In LIke Flint was always one of my favorites!

Aw man, it was one of the WORST experiences of my life. EVER.

Of all the people to spike my drink, it was my "best friend."

I started feeling weird, and this was in the middle of the afternoon, on a Saturday.

I was playing a game and realized the screen was acting weird on me, but not a technical problem (obviously). And the plants seemed...alive. :nervous:

The piece of then tells me he fed me acid. I WIG THE OUT and a friend comes over. (More like an acquaintance, but she was nice.) I talk with her, but the entire time, I'm feeling nothing but complete and utter FEAR. Paranoia to the extreme. This girl, who I had no romantic interest in of any kind, was the only thing keeping me in reality. What made really bad was when he put Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 on the TV, now THAT made me go over the edge, and I was looking for a way out of the house. I have sworn to beat my friend to within an inch of his life if he EVER tries a stunt like this again. Only reason I didn't do it then was becuz I was too ed up on the 'cid. I hate that substance almost as much as I hate weed.

What is morphine endogenous to? Certainly not humans, which is why we label ours "endo(genous)(mo)rphines." Unless I'm somehow mistaken.

Also, heroin itself has a very particular chemical structure. It is one chemical.

As Dark Angel pointed out you don't drop acid on friends as a joke. I've seen some real bad trips in my life. Have no clue about what acid does these days, but back in the day you needed some parental supervision so folks don't go jumping out of 6 story windows. Had a real trip at an Allman Brothers concert once. Whiskey spiked with acid. A real trip, by god.... riot police on horseback (real), satanic demons (imagined I guess), going berserk on a bunch of yokels (real), and a general melee (real again)...most of which was told to me afterwards because I can't remember...

Morphine was recently discovered to be a natural chemical in the brain, usually in small amounts. Source

Heroin is supposed to be one compound, but it's rarely that refined when you buy it illegally. (it's like saying hash is usually only THC d-9, which it very rarely only is)

Awesome, thanks for the citation.

I've also read in several places that n-DMT is endogenous to the brain, and may even be an explanation for lucid dreams and near-death experiences. Know anything about that?

Yes, a bit, both DMT and 5-Methoxy-DMT are endogenous to the brain, though it's been debated what exactly they're responsible for, and it's still mostly unknown so far as I'm aware.

A good, though short article on tryptamines and beta-carbolines can be found here. I'm not sure about the truth to most of that stuff about dreaming and sleep, though.

I once got hit by one, but I'm guessing that your experience with such a dangerous drug would have been more pleasurable.
