havnt had chance to post my respects yet, but this is a huge loss for 2 things A] his family and B] musics B listers. i dont think there has every been a more knowledgable,lovely kind funny man in the british music industry. such a completely irreplacable man, sadly missed by me and probably anyone that embraces new talent and non mainstream music.

RIP matey :(

Have a listen to the tribute show by steve lamacq on the radio website http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/ its all session tracks and shows how diverse his musical tastes were

the tribute page is up to five pages now and I have seen posts from damon albarn, zane low, jarvis cocker

what did you all play?? I am at work and couldn't really so will hpnour this idea tonight

i played a really ed up marco remus track off das album.

very, very loud!

i hope john appreciated it, i think he would have liked it.

I played the full Dave Clarke live on john peel's show loud as fuk. Im lucky iv got no neighbours!

Fantastic set. Good way remember a fantastic dj!
