Since I am a little Ferry Grouipe too ;) Here is my review from the night :)
I left after work around 6:40 ( had to get ready first) to head down there and the Traffic was BAD!!!:mad: So when my friends and I got to the venue it was arond 10pm. I was reallllly Suprized to see no line. My friends and I got in around 10:20 and went to the main room.
Over all the Venue is really nice. There is a smaller room where there is a bar and a sitting area and the main room also had a bar and a VIP area with coutches. My friends and I sat down since there was no on in the club yet.
The opeaning DJ was crap at first. He was mixing this stange electo stuff.. then boring prog house. I looked at my clock it was 10:30. It felt like forever passed when I looked again and it was only 10:45. Time was Dragging on!
ARound 11. The bouncer kicked everone out of the main room for some odd reason and then let us back in at 11:20ish. The Opeaning DJ was still on and people started comming in.
I went to get my spot front and center when on of my friends found me to tell me that Ferry was at the side bar. So I took Kris and went over there to say hi. After all I did tell him in LA I was going to see him in SD. hehe. I talked to him for a little bit and eventvibes snaped a picture. My Friend Kris made Shirts that said I *Heart* Ferry on them. Hehe :)
Finally at 12. Ferry came on and tore it up!! Every Track he played was AMAZING and his Mixing was Flawless!!
Here are some of the ones I knew :)
1. "Jump the next train"
2. Rock your Body
3. Fource of Gravity
4. No one on Earth
5. Its Time
I had some posters that I got off the wall for Ferry to sign and some guy tryed to take on and give it to his girl. He all most got socked! :mad: :stongue: So I had to keep them with me makeing it harder to dance.
Around 1:45 Ferry ened and was going to give the crowd an encore. The Bouncers got mad but told him it was time to Finish but Ferry asked for 3 more minutes. So he started playing "Punk" Right when it was about to Start the Bouncers kept going up there telling him to end and since Ferry did not want to they SHUT HIM OFF!!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: WTF!!! Everyone was pissed!!! Even Ferry was pissed!
After he was done Ferry was signing CD's and posters and I got him to sign mine and Kris's shirt. WHOOO HOOOO!! I also congralulated him on getting #5 in the DJ Poll.
Overall I had such a great time!! The next day was Reeallllllllllly hard since I had to be at work at 8am!:eyes: But it was well worth it!! :):):):):)

which one are you, the blonde or the brunette?
as for san diego club, u bet that's how it works here. besides the weather, san diego is not a good city for its night life, except if u r surfer and hang around PB bars all night. for clubbers, not a good city. i came from bay area, and going from san francisco to san diego is just killing me. there is no shopping center like union square, no scenery place like napa valley or sausalito, no diversity in food. the list continues... :( |
