Making one wasnt up to me, it was up to my dad, hes the one that owns the carpentry shop. But he never finds time to help his own family out. My sister has been asking him to do something for her & so have I, and none of it is being done. Funny thing is, I gave him my blueprints to what I want the table to be like. I even sat down with him and edited it. And nothing - its like talking to a wall. |

i have one of my mk5's on the same desk that my computer monitor, my mixer is ontop of my reciever that's ontop of one of my speakers and the other table is on one of them collapsible food tables lol. at the time it's all good but hell, i wouldn't mind one of those |

Yea, ok, I wont have hands to spin with by the time Im done, lol. Either way, materials need to be ordered and I wouldnt know where to start with the table, how to put it together the right way so it stays stable, than you need room to put the table, which im sure there is little of in my dads shop. I can do it with him, but alone I dont have the experience with putting stuff together like that. |

I built my own cabinet for my decks about 2 months ago. Before I started I didn’t even have any tools. I bought all the wood and tools I needed at Home Depot, and built it in my little yard outside my apartment on the floor – no workshop. Tools came to about $150, and the wood was about $220. I've never even done any woodwork or anything before, and I didn’t even draw up any real plans on paper... just a few sketches! Took me about 2 weeks to finish, working in the evenings and weekends only.
It’s really not that hard!
I'm going to put some monitor stands on the corners next, and get a new amp and stuff to go on the shelves underneath. |
