NASA Scientist: Bush Wore Wire During Debate

For the past week, while at home, using his own computers, and off the clock at Caltech and NASA, Nelson has been analyzing images of the president's back during the debates. A professional physicist and photo analyst for more than 30 years, he speaks earnestly and thoughtfully about his subject. "I am willing to stake my scientific reputation to the statement that Bush was wearing something under his jacket during the debate," he says. "This is not about a bad suit. And there's no way the bulge can be described as a wrinkled shirt."

I was never particularly bothered about this issue, but you've got to admit that it does look kinda dodgy on these new set of images. Thoughts? :D

He was definitely wearing something. I still tend to believe it was a bulletproof vest despite the official stance that it was not, rather than a wire. If he was wearing a wire, I don't think he would have done quite so poorly.

But then again, he could have done much worse. Maybe it was a vest, or something that sent mild electric shock to keep him focused and on message. Unless this makes it to the mass media, an highly unlikely prosepect, its a non-issue. Where was this guy weeks ago?

While this guy may be an expert photo analyst, I bet it is safe to so he knows next to nothing about different kinds of "wires". I am still inclined to believe that it is a bullet proof vest, though I lke the theory that it sent shocks to keep him "on message" :D

seriously. i think he has some type of attention deficit disorder (add or hdad, with hyperactivity), in addition to cognitive processing problems. These two conditions don't mean that he is stupid, but they would affect his ability to absorb information (ADD) and process information (slow processing). we'll possibly never know though. may some psych majors can fill in the blanks

Ok, I, on behalf of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, will tell you the purpose of the bulge.

In 1982 George W. Bush was killed in an accident while driving drunk and was replaced with an animatronic version of him. We knew that a skull and bones member who was the son of a CIA director had an incredible chance at being President. The Bulge you mention is the control mechanism for the droid. For 22 years the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has kept this secret. Now you know the truth.

I assume "hdad" = ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I believe technically ADD is not considered a different disorder rather they would say someone has "ADHD without hyperactivity". Of course I am really splitting hairs here... I know what you are saying and it would not surprise me if this was a problem for him.

Maybe it was just bad ironing. :D

The Prez pretty much always wears a vest in public...I wouldn't be surprised if the challenger does as well...especially since they also get other SS protections.

I have no idea what these photos truely represent or how "manufactured" they are...I believe them to be nothing more than more of the same old propaganda..

Well, you gotta admit it does look like a wire there. Most people have so far stated that it certainly can't be a box-sized reciever on his back. But these images make it pretty obvious that it wasn't a bullet proof vest.
