no, surface piercings do not hurt. piercings IN GENERAL don't hurt.. and i honestly think anyone that complains about them hurting either have zero pain tolerance or are trying to show off.
out of the 22 times i have been pierced, 3 have hurt, ever... and those 3 had very good reasons.
on my nape piercing, it really felt more like a sting than a normal piercing. hardly hurt at all. although putting the jewelry in did hurt a bit. the jewelry is shaped like |_____|
if it had been a curved barbell or a straight barbell, it would reject very quickly... mine still might reject, but the likelyhood is far smaller than if i had had it pierced the wrong way.
about tats not looking good for jobs..
i agree somewhat, but hey, if you get a computer job anywhere, you dont need to worry.
i worked last summer at microsoft and i still was in my 5 year industrial phase. i came to work wearing usually all black vinyl, bright red stop sign colored long hair, piercings everywhere, they dont care. yes, my tats werent showing, but they wouldnt have cared about those either. i guess it all has to do with the job field you are going into that you'd need to consider.
as far as girls getting unnoticable tattoos, i think thats ridiculous. why get a tattoo at all if you can't be proud of it and show it off? i am extremely proud of mine, they are beautiful, even tho they are a foot high and 1/2 a foot wide. i show them off any time i can.. if there were special pants i could wear to show them off all the time, i'd buy them in a second. |

Why not buy some cheap assed(not too cheap) pants and cut the sides out?
Might kinda look barstar like, but hey....
and if u want, put a piece of clear plastic, over the cutout... |

They prolly mean something that isnt big or gurls who have their body done up in tatt's. I know you have something like that. And I think its cool if that is your thing...personally I don't like seeing a guy or a gurl have tons of tatts all over them or overly large tatts. But that is my opinion..and I think if you like that sort of thing then more power to you. I guess it all comes down to a matter of what you think is beautiful. Some people may think I'm a poser bc I only have one tatt and a navel piercing...I'm not into the whole piercing scene so I wouldnt get anything else done. But for some people piercing and tatts are a major thing for them...they get into it just as much as I get into listening to trance and getting new mp3's. Everyones gotta have something they have a passion for. |

ive got 2 piercings in my left ear and 1 in my right ear, and a pierced nipple, wanna get my tongue pierced too, but not allowed at work, so maybe later
i think it does depend on the person, some ppl may look good with piercings and tattoos, some may not, also depends on location and type |

those are the outside of my legs, about a foot high for each one... im a small 5'2 girl so they go from my hip to my knee on both legs. i plan on getting another rip on my lower back, connected to the leg ones by metal plating etc, sometime in the near future (ive put those off a few years to make sure i really want to put stuff on my back).
heh.. again. my ultimate quest to look like a cyborg :) i love biomechanical stuff. |

yes, i am very into h.r. giger style things. basically, anything biomechanical in any way :)
i like the tat that looks more straight mechanical better i think than the gigerish one, because as i mentioned i am really fascinated with cyborgs. :)
h.r. giger definitely amazes me tho. some day when i have a good computer job and lots of money, i want to get some of that furniture he created. expensive, but damn... so amazing. |
