just got home now.. had to climb up to my brothers room bang on the glasss to wake him up to get in.. since i didnt have my keeys on me lol
dumonde was great.. it was nice to come to a more pumping vibe.
I started the night off at guv, there was an itallian party there It was alright alot of cool costumes there.. i left at around 2:30 hopeing to take a taxi to dumonde next.. but ended up walking all the way to docks because there were NO TAXIES
so .. 4:30 i arrive.. with nothing but shorts and a bedcloth hehe.. and dumonde kicking ass.. so it was a great welcoming
Dallas star i really liked your kimono outfit.. it was very flashy and nice!.. nat i didnt see your costume.. but im guessing you were a frog from the picks. ! Goodnet it was great trackspotting witih you at the front.. like old times old trance :D
dumonde were dropping blasts from the pasts.. i was astonished..
I unfortunately missed symsonic
but to my surprise when i got in i heard the following

I drove down w/a friend to Docks at "last minute" for this event. I had no idea what to expect from this party, being it was my first Destiny/TR event. The crowd with all the younger kids wasn't something I was used to - but no doubt I had a blast.
The first set i got into was Walter Rosati's 1 hour set in the sideroom. Proper trance! Too bad about the technical difficulties.
I stuck around for OS/2 in the main room for a bit while he was warming up for Dumonde. Just before Dumonde starts I walk into a whole group of TAs in the licensed area. Nice to see familiar faces & new ones I met thru the party... waltermindz, swamper (har har i wasnt old enuff for the licensed area :D), vertig0, tatgirl, maxtuh, nrg (who has license agreements w/capcom), flec (now an oldskool TA), this dude with a Trancesphere shirt and others. You know who you are.
Dumonde's set was effing crazy, thier headlining act really made it worth going. Everything from start to end was brilliant. There was a portion of thier set where they played a lot of thier older tunes; Never Look Back, Can't Keep Me Silent (Dumonde mix), Ayumi H. - Trauma (Dumonde mix), God Music, Dumonde vs Lange - Memories... I never thought I woud have heard those in a club played by them. Also tunes like Rank 1 - Symsonic (Dumonde Mix) & that Blue Monday remix track kicked my arse :eyes: :eyes:
Definitely a memorable night. Cheers to the promoters, TAs & talent! |

Good on Temphoral Rhythm for bringing back the wicked talent!! You guys made trance fan very very happy!!
To everyone at home...I miss you guys, happy halloween. Durefei & I partied it up in Vancouver for you...its not the same without you....

went down last minute, and headliners were cancelled, so no MIKE or Rank1. (I'm very sad, and i still haven't seen push, and i will probably be more upset once i have some time to reflect....
But I saw Lisa Lashes & ALPHAZONE!!!! Alphazone ing killed it. High energy, driving trance, similar to dumonde, but more non-stop builds. These guys were having fun....like more fun than a lot of people who were dancing. Then after their set, them came out to the floor and partied with everyone.
The other major party here went down fine. But it was majorly sold out, especially with all the confusion from the other party. I wanted to be there, but I was more than happy with my night....

You got it! Yeah, it sucked I had to leave early, but my ride was taking off, and it's a helluva drive back to ol' Cambridge. I was still completely loaded at that time too, haha. |
