One of the best books that I've ever read.
I took a Russian Revolution and Literature course last year and this was one of the required readings. It really is amazing how Bulgakov is able to indirectly point out all the things that were going on in the Soviet Union at the time in this book. A must read for anyone. I like the constant character dictation changes between chapters. |
