That is no mistake. Muli has specifically requested to play something other than the first set. He would like to play a euphoric trance set rather than his normal prog/techy trance set

Please don't knock the set times. A very large amount of thought and discusion is involved with constructing set times. I and the team analyse many different aspects with contributions and thoughts from a variety of people including both DJs and clubbers. |

I speak on the behalf of the majority my friend. I honestly could not be bothered getting into a petty internet arguement, but I think I share the opinion of many who believe that those set times are largely formulated to suit YOUR needs and YOUR needs only. But hey, when you enjoy a monopoly, I guess you do what suits you :rolleyes: |

That is a totally ridiculous comment
Why would i survey 150 people and ask them what they want in an event and who they want to hear if I was only doing the events to promote myself??? Why would I bother to ask patrons for their oppinion on set times if i didn't care about other peoples needs???
I ran the survey because I want to know what people want!!! and guess what the majority does not agree with you! <-- Sorry but it has to be said they don't. I have 150 peoples survey results and feedback in front of me from TT/ITM/Grooveinc/eChild/TA/mailing list.
Also if i was just doing the set times for my own needs then I would be playing the 12 till 2 slot solo and not 2:30 till 4:00 vs Matrix!!!
But I'm not!
Their is a 2 hour set of melodic trance first with Stama and Diggs n Morro. That will flow into a euphoric trance set which will be a little faster and more anthemy with Jayde and Marishka. That will then flow into a hard, epic and faster set with Matrix and myself. Then finally we'll head to a euphoric and feel good finish with Rob and Muli.
Have you heard of tall poppy syndrome? Perhaps you might want to refresh your memory and give me a break.
I'm trying to put on a top notch uplifting trance night and thus far I think i've done a pretty decent job of it!

I'm sure we would all rather see Muli and Rob Noble in the 12-2 or the 2.30-4 set. The only peoples that would stick around from 4.15-6 are those who have the legs to go till that time (and we know after a long working week that most peoples leave anot by 4am) so yeah, I know most ta's would be fast asleep by 4.15 and would much rather see Muli and Rob play in lets say the 2.30-4 time slot. But oh, the millions of fans came to see mirror man, so we can't ofcourse let them down :rolleyes: |

Yes I know that and I totally agree with you.
Unfortunately at A Night Of Trance I am catering for a large group of people (700 to 800). I have to make decisions about the night that will please the majority of patrons TAs, TTers, ITMers, Groovers, eChilders, Walk ins and many many more. To make those decisions I use survey's, observe peoples reactions at the events, listen to people e.g. what you are saying now. e.t.c. e.t.c.
Please understand that for every person that dislikes something this way their are several other people who like something the other way. I am trying to listen to everyone. I am also trying to mix things up and give everyone a chance whilst at the same time keep enough of ANOT the same so it does not loose it's core.
Look at the positives of this event Sid. Sure you may not have a 2:30 till 4 set with Muli and Rob but you do have a 11 till 1 set of Diggs and Morro and Stama. Diggs n Morro hasn't played a main time slot for a while and Stama hasn't ever played one at ANOT. This is a great time to see those guys.
