Thanks for your comments Zureal and rez. It is ridiculous. Alot of people only comment on what they don't like. Guess how many people have said "WOW A NIGHT OF TRANCE IS ONLY $15!!!"?
So many people complained about A Night Of Trance going up to $20 yet no one has commented about it going back down to $15. The fact that it is $15 puts alot more stress and pain on me but I did it because i thought you guys would like that it was cheaper. Yet not a single person has even noticed the price drop.
Seriously guys and girls at the end of the night i'm just trying to give you the best night out at the cheapest price!

I think we all know what to expect from Diggs n Morro and even stama to a large extent, I honestly thought Muli's set at the last anot down in the bottom room was something that shouldn't be missed, and should get prime exposure in the main room. |

yeah but you can please the majority of punters who truly follow the scene and play favourites like Muli and Rob in more favourable time slots. |

I'm sorry Sid have you asked all the punters of A Night Of Trance what they want? I don't think majority is a fair term to use. I have the results of the survey of 150 people so I am pretty sure that I have a pretty decent idea of what people want. I know what you want too!!! I tried to put Wade in the lineup becaue i thought you guys the TAs would enjoy some more prog (unfortunately he cancelled). I'm trying to give everyone as much of what they want as possible!!!! It's a very difficult balancing act!! |

I'm pretty sure they dont wanna hear "let me fly away" or "communication" or "ratty - sunrise" for the one billionith time! dude by saying that you have a pretty decent idea what people want and that you are trying to give everyone what they want and then playing YOURSELF during a peak time set and then claiming that is a difficult balancing act is simply beyond me. How can you claim that it is a difficult balancing act when you play the majority of the peak time sets? honestly josh, you might think that I'm having a personel go at you, well I'm not! If you honestly want to "balance" a night , as you claim, then give lets say Muli a chance to shine from 2-4am!
hey as I said, its your night, but I am simply conveying the distress of alot of people I have spoken too. I am not pulling this out of thin air, or to attack you personally. If you want some honest ways to "balance" your night, then to speak to alot of ta's and I'm sure they will let you know exactly what the people REALLY want. |

i know.
But it's like he is bagging josh out for doing this hard work of actually organsing an event, when we should feel so lucky to have this, no matter how it is presented, timeslots or whatever...it's perplexing that someone could criticise it..when josh and the organisers are doing their best to set this up for us...And i know and know of so many people who love josh's sets aswell..not that this is about that though...
OHH there is so much more i could rant on about, but i won't, cuz this is starting to feel geeky...and i don't really care that much..
.But yes..anyway..I can't wait.. :) |
