Alec,
Although he may up Americans more (and that is debatable considering they seem to like him and will vote him in again), the real problem is that he will DEFINITELY up the world more. One would hope that most people look at this election from a global perspective rather than some narrow minded nationalistic perspective, whether the latter perspective be American or Canadian. |

Conspiracies, coverups and election bull is nothing new to Americans these happen just about every term, and wether or not you like it, Americans have been ing up the world for a long time, even before Bush! Vietnam, Korea, China, Cambodia, you name it they've ed it up, so I'm not gonna bother thinking about it from another perspective because nothing will change with them! The only thing that will change is the rest of the world! And Krinker I'm not worried about Americas military force, Korea and India/Pakistan worry me a hell of a lot more! |

Actually, if you believe that in his last 4 years, he's ed up the world quite well, then using induction, you have every right to extrapolate him ing the world up for the next 4 years also quite well since there is no good reason for him to change his ed-up ways.
Having said that, I will at the end agree with you that with the Americans, regardless of who is in power, their vested interests are immutable. Same old foreign policy of economic supremacy, support for Israel and control of oil reserves. The only difference is the means they use to achieve these same goals, but ultimately, you're right, it's the same packaged differently. |
