This is the sort of sitation well suited to totally doing your head in, but you probably don't need to be told this.
I was in a similar situation to this and it was painful. I just came to the conclusion that it wasn't the right time and that seeing her was torturing me mentally. This took a while though.
Sometimes changing your life a little can really help, and staying around good friends, and msot of all not talking about her because this makes it worse... |

although i do know that i want her more than any girl i've ever wanted before in my life
*groan* think i'll tell her tomorrow in person that i won't be able to just be friends... i'll write speach cards
*can't handle being friends
*seeing you makes me unable to think about anyone else
*i'll always be there for you
*call me if something is ever possible between us
of course what i say will most likely be 15 minutes long and worthy of a fkn oscar but yeah thats probably the main points that will be made |

Just a friendly suggestion - search for the "ladder theory." it's an interesting read... it may not apply to you, but it makes sense, i think.

Maybe shell realize how cool you are when you stop being her bitch and stop listening to her problems. So far it sounds like, except for giving you erections, she does more harm than good in your life.
Cut her off until she begins fulfilling something for you. It may be never. It sucks. Women suck. Relationships suck. its hard and not fun. Shell call you in two months after youve forgotten about her. |

| ...and i'm sure most of us guys have all been through a similar situation like this before. you get over it. you may think she's perfect but come on, being hopeful for something that will probably not happen (you ing her) is just self-agonization. realize that all you really want, subconsciously or not, is her crotch, and move on to a different one (crotch, that is.) you coming on the boards and crying about it (not meant to be rude here) is just agonizing yourself. you'll help yourself in the end by moving on (and thus no longer crying about it). the sooner, the better. |
