Man, after reading some of the more old skool computers people had back in the days, I certainly feel like a noob. But it's cool though. I remember the old Mac's and playing Number Munchers, Oregon Trail, and some game where you're a dust ball in a hotel and trying not to get sucked up by vaccuums. But it was during my sophomore year of High School when I finally realized the importance of having a PC in your home. So the first system I bought was an IBM Aptiva 1998. Came with an 8 GB hard drive, CD-ROM drive, Pentium II 350 Mhz processor, Windows 98 SE and 96 MB SDRAM. I thought it was the coolest thing then. Only set back was the prebuilt didn't come with Office 98, but the Lotus Smartsuite. (Microsoft put Lotus out of business in 1998 I believe) So that meant I had to type all my hw in wordpad, and then go to the school's computer and copy and paste it into Word. No big deal though I guess. My new custom built PC kicks ass though. I'll never go back to buying prebuilts again.
