couldnt have said it better mate. and Laushinameee ur one of the offenders so go crawl back under which ever rock u came from ;)

honestly nik grow up man, do u not find saying some track(s) u dont like are boring? cuz i ing do. every thread i go into on ta these days its full of whiney ******s complaining that all the stuff these days is and all made by talentless people. if this is ur opinion then u might as well off cuz its no use to man nor beast posting it.

ta has been going down for a long time now but i could always stomach the that went on here but its gettin to a point now where its just getting ridiculous. i know this post will be futile but i still want to have my say and fact is all the ing twats who think its cool to abuse everytune going, which they defend with it being their own opinion (bollox they are just trying to be a **** to get a rise out of others) and just running ta into the ground.

why dont u all off and listen to ur "cool" music on ur own cuz on one else gives a wot u think

rant over

Mike

Tough. I do not post here to please you or anyone else. I tell my feelings exactly how they are. However, unlike certain few people, I do not post just to get a rise out of others. I post because I feel like posting. Sure, it might not be the best idea to post as harshly as I usually do but at least I don't turn the threads to by forcing my opinion to others time and time again like certain people do (you'll notice a pattern here...). I say what I have to say and then I off unless someone takes it as a personal insult like happened in this very thread.
I agree with you on the fact that I often really really should consider twice before posting but... well... I never claimed to be highly intelligent in that area.

btw, Mr.Mystery please tell me some producers you do like, and if so do they fit on 1 hand or 2?

I could do that but there wouldn't really be much point in that, would there? You can check out my Discogs profile if you want to see stuff I like.

That's it right there, except that you're calling me a "piece of " which sure as hell is a direct insult at me rather than my works. I know plenty of people who don't like my productions at all. I am fully aware of the fact that not everyone likes me. Is bitching about it going to change their minds? I don't think so.

If an artist can't take negative feedback from their works then they shouldn't be in the business at all. Though in this case it's you who can't take negative feedback that isn't even directed at you which I cannot understand at all.

You yourself concede that you should think twice before posting. Thats exactly the reason why I insulted you at a personal level. Words hurt don't they? It is a 'sensitive' issue when it comes down judging someone on the work they do. Of course, negative feedback is something that has to be taken in a positive way. But, from what I can infer from your posts you generally don't give feedback but do all you can to make the person/artist feel bad on a personal and artistic level.
The reason I defend the artists is because it's not very encouraging for them when they(some, not all) genuinely put a lot of effort and time into their production just to have it spat at by tactless opinions such as yours.
Just remember one thing: what goes around, comes around.
Look at Sunquest's posts in the Amateur Music Producers Promotion Section to get an idea what constructive feedback should be like.
However, it's a shame that you haven't learned much in that department despite the fact that you've been around here for so long.

I always tell what I like and don't like about the track I listen to, I never say the tracks are crap without explaining why. If you look at my reviews at the amateur section you see that they might look harsh at first but they are purely written from a technical viewpoint and show the artist directly what's lacking (and also what's good) in their tunes. I feel that helps people to push their limits further when they get something else than unjustified praise and ass-kissing for a change (have you noticed how some people there never say anything negative about anything? Gotta wonder their motives...)

What goes around, comes around indeed. If someone wants to tell me my track is then they may feel free to do so... IF they can tell me why they felt it was .

From listening to the samples I like the Save Me release, gives some of us a chance to own it.

But those PHATT remixes are very average. To start a label by releasing 3+ remixes from an average artist isnt a good start imo.

I'll still be looking forward to future releases tho (apart fro mthose PHATT remixes).
